2009 MIDWEST ADVANCED POLICE MOTORCYCLE TRAINING
MCOLES CERTIFIED
The Advanced Police Motorcycle Training is a 24 hour course held on three consecutive week days. Students attending must be Certified Police Motor Officers and have a current calendar year recertification. Students must provide a fully marked and fully operational police motorcycle for this training. The training will cover officer survival using the police motorcycle, advanced road speed operation including braking, evasive maneuvers and motorcade escort. Other topics include traffic stops and night time riding exercises.
The Midwest Motor Recertification class is a 24 hour course held on three consecutive week days. To participate, a person must be a certified Police Motor Officer and must have already successfully passed the Primary Police Motorcycle Training through Midwest or an equivalent police motor training course. The participant must pass a skills test on ten different exercises with a minimum overall score of 70% to be recertified.
